In 2018, the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) announced Bear Grylls as the Chief Ambassador of World Scouting. The role of the Chief Ambassador of World Scouting is to promote Scouting worldwide, champion youth education, and inspire more adults and young people to join the Scout Movement. By showing up at World Events and taking part in global campaigns, Bear Grylls has enabled more young people to become active citizens and create positive change in their communities.
