Implementation Guidelines for the Wood Badge Framework in the Africa Scout Region
This practical implementation guide was developed in response to a specific request from the Africa Scout Region and contextualises the World Scouting Wood Badge Framework to support National Scout Organizations (NSOs) in strengthening their adult development systems. It provides structured guidance, examples, and adaptable pathways to help NSO leadership and Adults in Scouting teams design role-based development approaches aligned with their context and strategic priorities. NSOs can use this resource to reflect on their current system, choose an appropriate development path, and implement flexible, competency-based learning opportunities for adults.
