These guidelines aim to support Scout Centres and their National Scout Organizations or National Scout Associations to establish and maintain SCENES. They offer guidance to:

Scout Centres on how to become accredited as SCENES and take part in the SCENES network.

SCENES on how to maintain the accreditation by continuously implementing and monitoring practices and principles related to the accreditation.

National Scout Organizations and National Scout Associations on how to support Scout Centres in their territory to become SCENES.

Les centres scouts d'excellence pour la nature, l'environnement et la durabilité (SCENES) sont des endroits formidables. Ces centres s'engagent à long terme à protéger l'environnement et à promouvoir l'éducation à l'environnement. Les SCENES sont des lieux qui présentent certaines caractéristiques spécifiques et s'engagent à respecter certaines pratiques.

Los Centros Scout de Excelencia en materia de Naturaleza, Medioambiente y Sostenibilidad (SCENES, por sus siglas en inglés) son lugares excepcionales. Son centros que han contraído un compromiso a largo plazo con la protección del medioambiente y el fomento de la comprensión ambiental. Los SCENES son lugares que ofrecen unas características específicas y que se han comprometido a llevar a cabo determinadas prácticas.
