5th European Scout Conference - Conference Report

By invitation of the Federation des Eclaireurs Suisses, the 5th European Scout Conference was held in Switzerland, September 27th-29th, 1968. The main sessions were held at the Swiss Agricultural Technical College, Bern-Zollikofen. The Conference was attended by the Chairman, members and Secretary of the European Committee, M. Henry Bourreau of the World Committee, 81 delegates representing 22 member countries, and observers from two other countries. Olave, Lady Baden-Powell, World Chief Guide and Hon. Vice-President, Boy-Scouts World Committee, Lady Baden-Powell, Mme Bugnion-Secretan of the Girl Guides World Committee, M. Werner Barblan of the International Fellowship of Former Scouts & Guides, Dr. Laszlo Nagy, Secretary-General, and members of the Boy Scouts World Bureau were also present.
