Scouts Go Solar Sunglasses

This poster offers an overview of the Scouts go Solar programme. This includes the different steps to complete the programme and some examples of activities you will explore while doing so.

This handbook was designed by Solafrica in partnership with the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) and Greenpeace to help create awareness, increase knowledge and develop the skills of children and young people with regard to solar energy. It aims to help group leaders to identify, plan, prepare for, and realise solar learning opportunities.

The Scouts go Solar workbook was developed by Solafrica in partnership with the World Organization of the Scout Movement and Greenpeace to offer practical help for leaders to complement the Scouts go Solar Handbook. The Scouts go Solar quiz game is an activity that can be played with scouts to learn more about solar energy.
