In this session, volunteers will learn about common mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. The facilitator may provide information on the signs and symptoms of these conditions and how to recognise when an individual may need additional support.

This session focuses on providing information and referrals to individuals seeking additional support. The facilitator may provide guidance on identifying appropriate resources, making referrals, and following up with individuals to ensure they have received the help they need.

Β For any WOSM event, Listening Ears should use this form during or after each encounter they may have. We encourage Listening ears to take notes with a pen and paper during the encounter and complete the online version of the form later.

The Listening Earβs role is to guide and support a Scout in need, whether the Scout is faced with a risk of harm or experiencing discomfort at the event.
