The Scouts of the World Award NSO Implementation Manual is to assist NSO that decide to adopt the award.

In 2002 at the 36th World Scout Conference, held in Thessaloniki, Greece, WOSM adopted a Resolution 07/02 on ‘Keeping Scouts Safe From Harm’ which has since been WOSM’s key policy statement on Child Protection.

The Scouts of the World Award Programme Guidelines are designed to help young people, scout or non-scout, between the ages of 15 and 26 years old who want to complete their award.

The purpose of these guidelines is to provide National Scout Organizations a tool in planning and executing effective public relations with the media and the community.

At the 16th Africa Scout Conference in Uganda, a new Strategy for the Africa Scout Region was adopted. The strategy has been aligned with global strategy for Scouting - Vision 2023.
