Scouting has made an extraordinary contribution to improving the sustainability of our planet, promoting peace and tackling inequality, mobilizing more than 50 million Scouts around the world.

We educate for global citizenship, this is a comprehensive education that opens people's eyes and minds to the realities of the world and awakens them to achieve a world with more justice, equity and human rights for all. It gives girls, boys and young people the opportunity and skills to reflect and share their own points of view and play an active role within a global and interconnected society, as well as to understand and discuss the complex relationships between social and ecological problems, common political and economic issues and develop new ways of thinking and acting.
