The Sphere Handbook

The Sphere Handbook is designed for planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation during humanitarian response. It presents a Humanitarian Charter and a set of minimum standards in key life-saving sectors: water supply, sanitation and hygiene promotion; food security and nutrition; shelter, settlement and non-food items; and health action. The minimum standards are evidence-based and represent sector-wide consensus on best practice in humanitarian response.
