The 4th World Scouting Education Congress, one of the most significant educational events for Scouting's leadership, saw close to 500 participants from 66 National Scout Organizations gather in Paris from 1 to 3 December 2023 to exchange their research, findings, and best practices and learn about new theories and trends in the field of education and youth development. The event took place at a pivotal moment, coinciding with the development of a new Strategy for Scouting for the next decade. the strategy aims to ensure Scouting remains relevant, transformative, and adaptable for the future, striving for a sustainable, peaceful, and inclusive world shaped by young people. The timing of the Congress significantly enhanced discussions and underscored the urgent need for robust educational innovation to meet these goals.
