Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) - Online Course

This is a 5.5 hour online course on the Kaya platform of the Humanitarian Leadership Academy, designed to provide an in-depth overview of Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM). It draws on the very latest practice and theory in DRRM and has expert content from around the world. In addition to presenting the standard frameworks, it introduces new thinking on vulnerability and risk, on resilience and on urban contexts. This course aims at NGO practitioners who are interested in designing and implementing people-centred DRRM in response to disasters and humanitarian crises.
